I just couldn't resist when I saw these babies at Opening Ceremony.  The Isabella Rossellini voice singing "Blue Velvet" in my head made me do it.

So...I was supposed to go to New York fashion week for a styling job with Eric.  Due to a work emergency and because of my slant eyes and native tongue, Eric is shipping me off to China and Tokyo for 3 weeks while he gets to style a show at Lincoln Center. Boooooo!!!
I'll try to update while I'm there but I have to surf bounce illegally...let's hope I don' get thrown in the red corner....

and to set the mood for this post....the best quote from David Lynch's Blue Velvet

Here it is, UNIF Spring 2011! We're back from taking a season off and we're so overwhelmed with the continued support of our stores/customers.  Thank you!!!
    ***in stores November!!***

On another note, how siiick is the van?  I found it parked on the streets of East L.A. and became obsessed with it.  We then proceeded to stalk the owner, Pedro, and convinced bribe him to let us use it for the shoot.  The location was Eric's dad's house in San Pedro, CA.  It has so much character and lucky for us, he owns goats!!!! Hope you like!

PlayMe Jeans lookbook coming up soon!

Wow, I finally have a second to update this thing! I just got back from Project Show Vegas tonight and I am SO glad it's over! This past month has been non-stop work preparing for this trade show...from lookbook shoots to making linesheets to dyeing garments in our bathtub to sewing labels on...it was crazy!!!  There were definite breakdown moments but it all paid off.  UNIF and PlayMe exceeded our expectations in sales and I cannot wait for our lines to hit the stores.  Thank you to all the buyers that took time out to visit us and Olivia for being a great intern!

The above pics are from a few weeks back while scouting a location for our UNIF lookbook shoot.  It turned out A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.  Can't wait to show everyone!!
Love my Hysteric Glamour bag.  If you know me personally, you already know my obsession with Hysteric Glamour.  I have a whole closet section dedicated to the cult brand where I store pieces I have collected since the age 13.  I got this bag back in the year 2000 in Shibuya.  I was visiting my Dad and he tried to buy me a purse at Prada (I don't get to see him often).  Uninterested in the Prada bag at age 16, I instead dragged him to the Hysteric Glamour store to get this bag.  Funny how I still love it so much after 10 years!
